My recent JPop favorites from 2018

Today I want to show you my personal favorites of songs that have been released this year. These are just my personal favorites that I love repeating. There are other great songs but these stick to me the most. They are in no particular order.

ANTIME - Number One

This group gets me really excited. I think they are really talented and their music turns out really well most of the time. I am sure they will have a bright futur ahead and I hope for more awesome music with the years coming. So this particular song came out in February and is the main track to their first album "VISION" which is also their first cd to be sold in stores. Number One is a fun song that get's me in a good mood whenever I hear it and it makes me want to sing along. Kauan's vocals always stunnes me. All their voices are great but his one is the most outstanding for me. Also songs about friendship are always awesome.


MADKID - Summer Time



Like the titel of the song indicates this song has a summer feeling to it and since I am a summer person and LOVE summer songs I already had the feeling I would love it before I actually listend to the song, so my expectation was really high. However I didn't got disappointed. This song really has an amazing summer feeling to it. The rap parts are amazing as always and I love the singing parts of You-ta soooo much!! His voice is so nice to the ears.


Shimizu Shota - Friday



OK I just have to love this 'cause it's a song by Shimizu Shota my absolute number one. However besides me loving him so much, this song really is so good. I tend to often hum it whenever I am alone with my thoughts. This song always stucks in my head for a long time after listening to it. The refrain is so extremly addicting. ~Friday I don't care about anything~ ❤❤❤


COLOR CREATION - CANVAS



If you have been on my blog before you might already know that I LOVE this group. All the members and all the songs they released so far and I was extremly excited when they announced to have a their major debut already. CANVAS is an amazing major debut song because it shows off their amazing vocal skills. These 5 boys are so extremly talented, especially Takuya, Rioske and KAZ. Damn it I love their voices so much but Junpei and Yuuto have great voices too. I can't wait to recieve my copies of the single to listen to the b-side tracks.


FAKY - Who We Are



I fell in love woth this song as soon as I first listend to it. This is such a beautiful song not only vocal wise but also the lyrics or especially the lyrics. This song is about being true to yourself and to not care about what others say. The song has been translated into various languages by fans (Faky asked for that on their twitter, that's also where you can find the translations). I love when songs have such important and strong messages and the way the girls sing this song makes it feel even more honest. Their vocals are stunning as always, definitly still one of the best girl groups I ever listend to.


lol - ice cream



This is another extremly addicting song. The beat, their singing and the rap part making this song so extremly good. I am following them for so long already and I am not always extremly excited by their songs but this one definitly got me. I can't even count how much I already listend to this, it really is this good.


AKLO - Dirty Work



So first of all I need to tell you guys that I love this man for already uploading the full song to Youtube even befor it is being released on itunes. I love his music a lot and I am so much looking forward to the music video for this song but so far I am just enjoying this awesome song on it's own. His rap is the best!


Swimy - Tenshi to Akuma no Uta



Also as three members Swimy doesn't disappoint. This is one awesome song that always get's me sing along (as much as I can). Both vocals harmonize well and all their solo parts sounding great too. I love this group for their music and I hope they keep on releasing good song like this one.


WHITE JAM - Amaoto



I am always stunned by how easy it seems for them to release a very good song one after the other. This is once again a song of them I deeply fell for. The reason for that may be their amazing vocals all three of them have awesome voices and I always get goosebumps listening to them. Amaoto is a beautiful song full of emotions that they transfer easily. It is once more a well done song by them.


CRAZYBOY - LOCO



I am so much in love with this song, especially the last few days. This has been on repeat for so many times and I am not getting tierd of it. I love to turn up the volume whenever this song playes. It's one of these songs that make you dance and singe along unintentionally. I really love the solo music by ELLY and think it was one of the best decisions he ever made. This song is definitly my favorite of his releases but if you never check out his music I absolutly recommend checking out all his other songs too.

White Jam to release new mini album

White Jam will release a new mini album on March 21st. It will be called Ameoto and comes with 8 tracks. The main track is Ameoto and they already released a music video for it. 

I love it. It's a beautiful song and video. I am always stunned by how well Nikki and Shirose can put emotions into their songs. Especially the last part of Shirose got me goosebumps and nearly made me cry. Also Gashima's rap voice is incredible like always and suites the vocals of Nikki and Shirose SO much. They have such good vocals and I honestly wish they would be way more popular outside Japan. They are super talanted and deserve much much much more attention.

Enough of this about the cd it will be availibe on itunes again and you can buy the cd online. If you buy it on their website you can get a special set, like always it will come with a big jacket sleeve with signs on it, a towel, booklet and lyric sheet. Also this time there will be a special pass inside (I guess it's for their summer tour), a ticket for a handshake event and the charm you can see in the video.

White Jam uploaded new MV

Yesterday White Jam uploaded a music video for their song "Unmei no Recipe" which is one of their new songs from their recently released 2nd full length album. It's a very beautiful song with a great music video. Nikki looks awesome as a mother, it was so cute how she interacted with the baby. So cute and Gashima suites the working clothes so much, makes him look much more older. He is really handsome. XD Definitly check it out.

White Jam released MV for Saiko Ketsu Saku

It's awesome that Wite Jam always releasing videos for pretty much all their songs. So here is their latest video for the new song "Saiko Ketsu Saku" which will be on their 2nd full lenght album. Again it's a good song and makes me even more excited for the new album which of course I already pre-ordered!! White Jam is love.

WHITE JAM to release 2nd full lenght album

WHITE JAM will release their second full lenght album on November 22nd. It's three years after their first full lenght album. The titel of the album will be "Saikou Ketsu Saku". More details have not been announced so far. However they also announced to held a winter tour starting from the beginning of December to the beginning of February. Today they uploaded a lyric video for one of their new songs. The song is called White Love and is very beautifull.

Songs I recently can't get enough of...

Today I wanna share some songs with you that I listen to a lot lately. I love each of these songs a lot and hope you like at least a few of them as well.

[Hirai Dai - Story of Our Live]

Gosh that song is so extremly beautiful and stucks in my head for hours. I know the singer for some years already but never really liked his music but gosh this song... honestly it's SO good and even the other song of his new album he released a video for is very good. I am seriously thinking of buying the new album. *0*


[Touyama Mirei - Negai ~ anogoro no kimi e ~]



Again I know the artists for quite a while but even thought I like her voice a lot and some of her older songs are good, I never stuck to her. However Negai is an extremly beautiful song about Love, how it comes and goes. She delivers the emotions of the song very well. Besides I also really like the music video, it's as beautiful as the song and each compliments the other.


[EBiSSH - Koi wa Timing]



To be honest I didn't expect to like this song so much but after I listend to it the first time I couldn't get this song out of head. A lot of times I randomly start to sing the "kimi ni mu chu" part. This is definitly not the best song I ever heard, also because I still think they have to improve a lot, but the song is addicting and I started to really love it.


[Starmen KiDS - STAR★MEN SUMMER DAYS!]



OMG this song is so damn addicting whenever I listen to it I have to repeat it at least once. I really badly want to have the single so I can listen to this endlessly... XD I love the rythem of the song. It has this amazing summer feeling and their voices, while quite untrained, are still extremly cute and kind of nice to listen too. I really love this song! ^0^


[Chotokkyu - Gr8est Journey]



Chotokkyu really have some of the best songs for their fans. I love the message of this song, it showes how important their fans are and how much they appreciate them being with them. They sing they are going to take you with them on their way to their dream. I love that. It's a super powerful song with an awesome uplifting feeling. Besides that the song is also encouraging thinking about yourself. It has the message that you can achieve what you dream of. I really really love it. Despite the lyrics I also love the vocals of Takashi and Koichi in this song alot and the rythem of this song so damn good too. Absolutly recommended song.


[PrizmaX - Orange Moon]



I love the mysterious feeling this song has, the english the use in it and the amazing refrain. This song is pure love and the video, even though really simple, is perfect for the song. I am addicted to this song and I can't wait for the b-side tracksof this single. On a side note there is one part in the sing I always have to cring at. It's the part where Tim sings "Sexy finger dance". I always think about "the spirit fingers" (from bring it on). XD


[Color Creation - Waiting for You]



If you follow this blog you might already know that I love this group a lot and their debut song is just so good. I listen to it really often and never get boring of it. Especially the vocals of Rioske make me melt. I like all their vocals but he has such a smooth and powerful voice and stands out for me a little. I wish I could see them live one day.


[White Jam - Millionaire]



I really love the music of this group, most of their songs are so perfect. Their music is pretty different to the typical jpop music. You can hear that Shirose (who writes and composes these songs) is very much influenced by western music. I like this because I think what he creats is awesome and always makes you wanna sing a long. Same goes for Millionaire. I love to dance and sing to this song. It's a song that always get's me in a good mood.


[Chotokkyu - My Buddy]



This song is super addicting as well. I didn't expect to like it so much but it's one of these songs that get stuck in my head and I randomly start to sing it no matter what I am doing or where I am. Also I really love the dance to this song. It's so cute.

White Jam uploaded dance video for "Millionaire"

Today White Jam uploaded a dance video for their new song "Millionair" which is released on their latest mini album. They already released a music video for the song and this time they also uploaded this dance version but sadly it's just a short version. So for everyone who didn't knew the song before. Here is also the music video for it. I personally like the song a lot.

White Jam will release their new mini album on the 17th July 2017 and today they released the music video for their main track. I love the song and the video is kind of hilarious.

My favorite songs of 2016

There have been my awesome songs last year. In this Post I want to share my top 10 personal favorites of this year! These are pretty much the songs of 2016 that kept spinning in my head the most, I was/am addicted to them and some of them even have a special meaning for me!

#10 MAG!C PRINCE - Ittsu Love

Despite loving all their A-side songs this is by far my favorite B-side track of them. It's such a lovely song that calms me a lot.

#09 WANIMA - Tomoni

I already wrote about how much I love their single "Jucie Up" and Tomoni is the A-side track of this single. I had this song in repeat for hours already and didn't got bored or anything. As long as the volume is loud enough I will enjoy this song to the fullest.

I think I also wrote about this song before. KAZ is a singer without a lable or anything. I know he released a single that was only availible at his live but he is not regular appearing in lives. However he relesed the video for ONE DAY in his twitter account and by considence I came accross it and loved it. I still love it, all the time I start listening to it I can't stop myself from repeating the song at least a few times. His voice is so nice and the song so cute. I honestly hope he will make more music.

#07 UNIONE - One Sided Love

Since their videos are pretty much always only restricted to Japan I can't embed the original for you, however I found a short version I linked you. About the song I love it so much. It's a great debut song. It's super addicting and I like singing along to it when I listen to it. All of them have great voices and they harmonize very well. I wish them to get very succesful and release many awesome songs.


#06 10JinActor - Kimi no Egao ni Sui Touto!

I got to know 10jinActor just last year but I already love them so much. Their music is always SO much fun. I am also deeply in love with their 2016 songs "Frontier" and "PhakChi Heaven". All of these song are very recommended. However "Kimi no Egao ni Sui Touto" kept spinning in my head a little more. I remember there was a time I started singing the song at work... luckily I work with kids and they didn't really care since I sing with them a lot at work anyway.

#05 X4 - obsession

This song is the only song of X4 I love. I love that it's so sexy. I already knew that Yuya can sing sexy songs. He released a handful while he was still solo. An example would be "Naked Night". However this one is even more sexy I think. Their vocals, the dance, the rythem everything is just so hot in this song/video. I just love it!

#04 PrizmaX - Up<Up Beat

I love PrizmaX a lot and follow them for so long now. I love how they always try something a little different but they keep their original style to it. Up>Up Beat always gets me in a good mood. It's such an uplifting song. 

#03 Ame no Parade - Tokyo

I can't count how many times I repeated this song last year. It was my first song by Ame no Parade and will definitly not be my last. Even thought I have to admit their songs tend to be very similar sometimes. However Tokyo is really unique. You get so many emotions through the songs or at least I do. I will always love this song a lot.

#02 0TU1 - Family

I came accross 0TU1 this year only. I wish I would have known them before. Their music in generell is really good and their latest mini album is just perfect. Family is one song on it. It's my absolute favorite song of them. So damn beautiful. Also I saw them live at the end of last year and they sang this song and believe me guys this song is even more beautiful live.

#01 White Jam - Sakanaide

Sakanaide is definitly the best song of 2016 that I listend to. The vocals make me melt, Shiroses vocal skills are impressive and the other members are stunning too. There is nothing more to say about this song despite that it's perfect.
