My favorite JPop songs of 2018 Part 2

Here is my second part of my favorite JPop songs of 2018. Since this part once again turned out really long, I will do another 3rd part.

Let's start of with a song I came across just a few days ago. However I like this song so much and listend to it a lot already, that I am putting it onto this list. The song is called "BURN!!" by the group "Gingadan". Sadly their songs are not availible on itunes or spotify, at least not international. I would like to listen to some of their other songs too.

SALU did a lot of collaborations this year one of them being his "Good Vibes Only" song which feat. EXILE Shokichi and JP THE WAVY. I love this song a lot but I also love the second track of this single which is called "My Love". Both belong to my favorites of this year.

Another collaboration I liked a lot this year is MACO who features SALU on her song "LUV U MORE". I love this song a lot. MACO has a beautiful voice and the smooth rapping of SALU fits this song so freakin' well. Check it out yourself.

At least there is one more collaboration with SALU that I LOVE a lot and that is "I don't like mondays" song "ONE THING". I am addicted to this song since I first listend to it. Being a huge fan of both the music style of IDLM and the rap of SALU, the outcome couldn't have been different. However that's not the only song of IDLM that I am putting on this list. There is also their extremly nice "Lemon" and "So Bad" that I am in love with.

The following group is still quite young. I am talking about YsR, an indie group with a huge amount of members. XD They released a few nice songs already but the one song that was sticking in my head is "ZION". I think these guys have potential and I am looking forward to their future releases. I hope you are going to listen to this song if you haven't already.

The next group is one I like a lot but I am always supprised how much I love their songs. The group I am talking about is "Starmen KiDS" which is an EBiDAN group. The members are all still super young and they still have very high "childish" voices. That's why I never expect to like their song this much but I always end up loving their songs. I am currious how their sound will change when their voices start to change. As for their songs of this year, which sadly haven't been much, I am mostly in love with their "Starmen Pirates" but I also like their "Jyokyusei Funk" and "Dancing on the Ring" a lot. "Mrs. Green Apple" is one of my favorite rock bands. The song that I liked the most of them this year is definitlye "Ao to Natsu". This song is freakin' beautiful and good! I am so much in love with Motokis voice.

Super Dragon had a good year once again. They released two singles and announced their 2nd album which will be released in February 2019. Also there was the awesome song they did for an advertising. Since I love this group a lot I always buy all their versions and therefor am able to listen to all the b-side tracks. I fell in love with "BuZZ" when they debuted last year but sadly they haven't released anything new since their debut. So I was very happy when they started to upload some songs to the avex youtube channel and while these songs haven't been released on cd or online yet, I still count them in for 2018 because that's when they have been uploaded to youtube. Check out these songs.

Another group that released very less this year is 10JinActor. They are pretty busy with their show I guess but I wish they would release more.  Here is the song they released this year. As always it's an awesome song, thought it took me a little to really get into this song because it's so totally different to their usual songs. Nevertheless I do love this song by now.

Next is PrizmaX. I love this group a lot (like all EBiDAN groups) and I am really happy with their releases this year. In the beginning of 2018 they released the single "Yours" which is very beautiful and after Tim left the group mid 2018 they started a project in which each member produced one song on their own. I love all for songs that were produced, thought "Rewind" of Tsubasa is my favorite one. This song has everything, a good  rhythm, a memoriable refrain and an awesome rap part. However like I said I love all songs, so here they are.

This year was the release of SAWY's first full lenght album. It is an overall really good album. Here are the songs I couldn't stop replaying but if you have the chance listen to the whole album.

When I first listend to "Office Love" by SOLIDEMO I didn't like it much. I was supprised when I realized that I was humming the song later that day. I listened to the song a few times more and started to like it and whenever I listen to it now I will have it stuck in my head for a while.

My favorite JPop songs of 2018 Part 1

Today I want to share my favorite songs of this year. There will be no ranking/order because I love all of these a lot and I am not able to put them in a ranking/order. There have been so many amazing songs being released this year and so many songs I deeply love, therefor this list is going to be pretty long and I will sepperate it into two parts. I hope you listen to the ones you don't know and maybe you will fall in love with them as well.

Let's start of with not just a song but a whole group and that is INTERSECTION. I love all the songs they released this year so freakin' much and I had all their songs on repeat a lot. If you haven't checked them out jet please do so.

The solo song of KAZ is extremly awesome as well and also one of my favorites of this year. Sadly there is no video for it but you can listen to it for free on spotify.

Next up is a girl group I like a lot and with their "Who We Are" they gave me goosebumps. I am talking about Faky, who bearly disappoint with their releases. "Who We Are" has been on repeate on my Ipod for very long. I am not only stunned by their beautiful voices but also about these amazing lyrics that have been translated into dozens of languages by fans.  Here it is.

Next up is "Shake Your Body" by ReN. I came across his music this year and by now I am deeply in love with his beautiful voice. While I do like his song "Aurora"  too (which was released this year as well), it is "Shake Your Body" that got me press the repeat button the most.

Next up is the most talanted and awesome Rapper ever....... AKLO!! I love his music a lot and I am glad to know he is writing his song on his own. My favorite of his songs this year has been "Under The Cliff feat. JAY'ED". His collaborations are always lit. However there is more that I count to my absolute favorites of this year. One of them being "Super Chingon", gosh damn it it's so freakin' nice listening to him rapping in spanish. Here are all the songs he released this year that I couldn't stop on listening to again and again.

Next up is another Rapper but a female one. Chanmina is an rising star and I hope 2019 will be an awesome year for her. In 2018 she sadly didn't release much. The one new song of her I absolutly love is "Pain is Beauty". It's a beautiful and very emotional song and the video for it was done very well too.

Next up is a taiwanese group releasing music in Japan and Taiwan. They are called noovy. I didn't knew them until this year. However I am not to excited about most of their songs. They do have some nice songs but I honestly prefer their taiwanese music more. However there is one japanese song of them I just can't stop listening to and that's "Singin' For You". Such an addicting, cute and beautiful song!!!!

Next is Mukai Taichi, who already got his place in my heart with releasing so many good songs and his unique voice that get's me melting. I love his music style a lot and 2018 was a great year for him. He released an mini album, as well as a full-lenght album and a few digital singles. When Color Creation released Canvas, I once again fell in love with their stunning voices. It's my favorite song of them so far.  The solo parts of Rioske still gets my heart flutter, whenever I listen to the song.

Another song I had on repeat countless times is "Yo Quiero Vivir" by WASUTA x Adexe y Nau. This song is extremly addicting!

As for the next group, I can't believe that they are still so underrated. I am talking about Doberman Infinity who deserve so much attention, especially outside of Japan. Their music is very good, the old and the new stuff. When it comes to 2018 I love their Off Road album and the singles they released this year are gorgeous too. My favorite song of them and the one I had on repeat the most is definitly SUPER BALL.

The only co-ed group on this list is lol. I am not too excited about their releases this year but there is two songs I absolutely love. So here are my two favorite songs of them in 2018.

CRAZYBOY's "Loco" was definitly one of my most played song this year. I always get a good mood listing to this but also his "U.N.I" is pure love. I am already looking forward to his releases next year.

The next group is HONG¥O.JP. I like their releases quite a lot, especially "Just Do It", it's always stucking in my head after listening to it. Another song I call my favorite is "One Road".

I listend to a lot of songs by DUAL MASK this year, sadly they released only one song this year. The song is called Always and is awesome. It breaks my heart that they are still so unknown. They are extremly talanted and their music is honestly so good. Please check them out if you have never heard of them.

Do you know these songs that are used in dramas and the more they are being played in the drama the more you love the song. "Sayonara Elegy" by Suda Masaki is one of these songs for me. Thought I did knew the song before I watched "Todome no Kiss", I fell much deeper in love with it because of the drama. His voice is beautiful and I LOVE the lyrics a lot. Definitly check it out and if you like dramas check out Todomo no Kiss as well.

The artists I listened to the most this year is by far Hirai Dai. His latest albums is really good and I love his old music too. His voice is very soothing to me, he transfers so many emotions with his songs. I became a huge fan of him this year and I am looking forward to more awesome songs of him next year. EBiDAN 2018: The year of many tears and new beginnings Part 1

It's nearly the end of the year and here I am sitting in front of my laptop with heavy emotions and thinking about everything that happened in EBiDAN throughout this year. There has been so much going on, I can't believe it's only been one year. The year started of with many bad news but also good thinks that got us fans excited. In this post I want to look back on everthing. Let's start of with the worst, which undenieable is all the members leaving their groups, EBiDAN and in most cases the whole entertainment industry. 

The first member that announced leaving EBiDAN and his group was Koichi. I still remeber thinking that what I read were fake news. In my wildest dreams I wouldn't have thought that any member of Chotokkyu would leave the group and when they announced it, it felt so wrong. His reason for leaving is that he wants to do a different kind of music. It was stated that they discussed this issue for a long time and while the members didn't wanted to let him go, in the end they came to the conclusion that it's the best for him to leave the group.  Many fans were shocked and tears were shed when in January he announced to leave and did so in April. While I was in shock and sad, my biggest worry was that now the group has only Takashi beeing a vocalist. However my worries were eliminated when they realesed their first single as only 6 members. "A kind of love" is and beautiful song and Takashi did proofe he can do it on his own too. I will always stand behind Chotokkyu but I will also support Koichi if he can find his own way. 

Even more shocking was Ryuji leaving the group DISH//. All of a sudden he withdraw from the group back in march. His ex-girlfriend spread rumors of him being violent to her while they were still in a relationship. It never got cleard up if she told the truth or not. Pretty much from one day to the other, the management and Ryuji decided together that it's the best for him and the group if he withdraws. So he did. On the one hand I think it is the worst if what was asserted is true and in that case the decision was correct. On the other hand thought, I have always liked him and I can't imagin him doing something so horrible. It broke my heart to see him leaving so sudden and for me he will always be an important part of the group. Whenever I see them as four members now I feel like something is missing.

The next one is Haruki, who graduated from M!LK in June this year. Again this really came as a suprise to me because I would never have thought about any member leaving the group. They were doing so well around that time. However it seems like his dream became different to what groupmates dream of and so he decided to leave. His graduation live was streamed on line tv and was super sad. The ending always get's me crying. I am looking forward to see what his future brings and what his dream is like. Since I don't want to be the only one crying here is the ending of the graduation live.

Also leaving in June was PrizmaXs Kurokawa Tim. The announcment of him leaving also came really unexpected. He decided to leave because he wanted a break from the music industrie. He has been the only original member of the group, which makes him leaving even more sad. Once again this feels so wrong and to me it feels like something is missing now. I will support PrizmaX forever but I can't denie that it hurts me bad seeing them as only four members.

The next one is Mahiro. In July the group MAG!C BOYZ decided to disband and while three of the members wanted to form a new group, Mahiro decided to leave the entertainment world completely. He said that he wants to focus on his studies, which I guess is a good thing for him to do. He had some amazing time with the other members and I am sure they will keep in contact. I am sad he is leaving but I do understand his decision, especially since Magibo has never really been stable. There were always member joining or leaving. That's also a reason why I am kind of happy that Magibo came to an end. I hope Mahiro will find his way in live and will live a long and happy live.

Finally Aruki left ZeBRA STAR mid July. He decided to concentrate on his studies and therefor won't continoue in the music industry. After so many people leaving their groups and EBiDAN you might think nothing could shock me anymore. However I really was shocked to find out he is leaving too. I have always liked Aruki a lot and he was my main reason for following ZeBRA STAR. He has been with EBiDAN quite long and now he is gone. It broke my heart to read these news because I followed him for so long and he grew up so much in these years. I wish him a bright and wonderful future and I hope to maybe one day see him in the spotlight again.

Unbelievable but true, there were 6 members leaving their groups and EBiDAN. Even thought my heart is still bleeding because of some of them, I do wish each and everyone a wonderful and amazing future. Who are you crying about the most?

10JinActor finally released new music video

10JinActor released their last music video back in August 2017 so I was super excited to see them uploading a new music video again. Their music videos are always super entertaining, quite messy and weird and I love them this way. The new video is nothing less and again I am in love with it. The song felt a little weird in the beginning because it has some reggae vibes here and there and that's so not what I expected. Even though I love the song. Please check it out yourself.

Sakura Shimeji released MV for My Sunshine

Sakura Shimeji's first mini album will be released at the end of this month and therefor they released the music video of one of their new songs a few days ago. The new song is called "My Sunshine". I feel like they try to have a more grown up image in this song. They don't sing as high as usually and the music video is kinde dark and their style quite cool. However to be honest I am not a fan of the music video. I feel the "dancing" is a little awkward and them singing feels so pressured. The part with the sky, their footprints etc. however is done really nice. Luckily taste is different and many other will think that this is done awesome.  Check out the song and video yourself.

Check out the new group INTERSECTION

Intersection is a 4-member boy group in which all the members are half japanese. They uploaded their first music video "Starting Over" back in October of 2017. Their first digital single was released in October this year, called "Heart of Gold". I got totaly addicted to this song after listening to it a few times. I would say it's a typical western boy group song. Besides since the native language of all of them is english, they all sing in english. Here is the 1st song of them. By the way, please ignore the terrible music video.

Their second digital release came out on November 9th 2018, so just a few days ago. The song is called Falling and I like it even better then the first one. Also the music video turned out so much better. 

There will be a 3rd release this year as well, on december 7th. The next song will be called "Body Language" and I am super excited for it. Also all the digital releases are availible on iTunes and Spotify internationally.
