CODE-V disbanded

My heart just broke when reading these news. I am so late with this because there is so many groups I follow that I check out certain groups only once in a while, thought I do love these groups. So just today I went to check out the website of Code-V, to look up if there is some new release announced but sadly I had to discover that they disbanded in december of last year. They have been one of my favorite groups for many years now, so I am very sad about this. However there is at least one good news. Niiisan's (a sub-unit of Code-V) is keep on doing music on their own. So at least three of them will keep on doing music.

Sang Woo, SOL, Rui

Since Rui and SOL have always been my favorite members and I love the mini album Niiisan's released back in 2017, I am really happy that they continoue doing music together. I don't know about Tae Hoon and Nalaw. Maybe they will keep on doing music solo, I at least think Nalaw could do that since he changed his name to Naro and his solo name was Nasty Naro.  I hope these two will do music as well but for now I am just glad that Sang Woo, SOL and Rui will not disappear.

I am really sad about the disbanding but I am also happy that I was able to see them live once because one of the worst things about groups disbanding is that you won't be able to see them performing live together. At least for me.

I wish all of them a bright future and that they can do what they want and be always happy with their decisions. And of course I am going to support Niiisan's, like I did support Code-V.

My Top 15 releases of October 2017

This month was a good one again. Many releases of artists I like a lot and I few new discoveries have been in it for me. There is much more then these 15 songs that I liked this month so it was kinde hard to choose this ranking but here it is. Have fun listening and write me your favorites in the comments.

#15 Code-V - Winter Love

To be honest I am not too excited about this song, I mean I like it but I guess if I wouldn't be so biased about Code-V this song wouldn't have been in the top 15. Nevertheless I can't deny this actually is a cute winter themed songs.

#14 AK-69 - Stronger

*Stronger starts at 1:12*

I never really paid much attention to AK-69 maybe I should try listening to some more of his songs because I do like this songs quite a lot. The refrein is so addicting!

#13 AK-69 - I still Shine feat. Che'Nelle

I like a lot that he working together with Che'Nelle here. Her voice is very outstanding, powerful and beautiful. I love her own songs and I tend to pretty much always like the songs she is futured in because she gives those songs a special touch.

#12 Shogo Sakamoto - Koi to Uso - Gyutto Kimi no Te wo -

I like how simple and beautiful this song. I would't say it's something very outstanding but it's a song I know I would always enjoy, especially while just day dreaming.

#11 ONEPIXCEL - monochrome

I never heard of this group before but this song is pretty good. I like the pop/rock sound with a little hint of eletronic. They have quite high voices that remind me of Dream5's Kotori. It's the kind of high voice that even thought it's so high it's doesn't bother me at all.

#10 CUBERS - Kimi ni Negai wo

This is a very fun and also simple song. It gets me in a good and that's what I like about it.

My Top 15 releases of September 2017

I am not happy with the september releases. There are a few good songs and I love the album AKLO and JAY'ED released together but despite these I didn't like a lot of the new releases. However not every month can be awesome, so here are the 15 songs I like this month.

#15 L.A.U - FAKER

#14 TaeHoon - Tell Me What To Do

#13 256 - Hoshi no Kazu dake

#12 RefRise - challenger

#11 Happiness - GOLD

Woo Sik graduated from Code-V

In april Woo Sik announced to leave Code-V. He will move back to Korea because of family problems. As far as I understood it seems like there is something wrong with his grandmother and he wants to take care of her. As of the 1st  May he is officially not a member of Code-V anymore. However he also wrote that he hopes for it to not be forever, so maybe if the problems with his family get solved he will come back again.

I am so sad, once for him and his family situation, and then I am very sad that he is leaving. He was a great part of Code-V and I will always remember him as a part of them. It is amazing that he is willing to let his carrer go to help his family. That makes him even more precious. I wish him all the best and hope that one day he really can come back.

He is still active on twitter, so if you want to keep following him encourage him and similiar you can do it here.

CODE-V released teaser for new single

CODE-V are going to release their new single at the end of this month and a few days ago they released a first teaser for the main song. Not only the cover but also the video is very different to their other releases. I like that they try something different and it's actually really good. So far I like the song a lot and I can't wait for a whole music video to be released. Besides the music video looks nice too. I like the dancing and the suites they wear. They all look really handsome inthe video. Here is the teaser.

Code-V to release 12th single

Code-V will release their 12th single on the 23rd November. The single will be called "Loving You, Love Me". There will be a dvd version and an only cd version. Both will come with two b-side trackes but those haven't been announced so far. The theme for it seems pretty simple and as the titel suggest, I think it will be a love song. I am looking forward to it, because I tend to like their love songs a lot. If I get more information I will writem them on this blog.

Why I consider Code-V to be JPop not Kpop

If you read this blog for a while already, you might know that I really like the group Code-V a lot and count them to one of my favorite japanese boy groups. However if I tell people about it they pretty much always  answer that Code-V is not a japanese but a korean boy group.

On the one hand that is of course true, all the members are from south korea and they once released music in korea BUT on the other hand since they started to release cds in Japan they stopped their activities in Korea. To be honest they haven't been popular in korea, neither under the name Bless nor under their recent name. Their last korean release was a digital single at the end of August 2011. Soon after that, to be exact in december, they released their first single as well as their honesty album, in Japan. They gained way more attention in Japan what made them more popular then they have been in korea. From that moment on they released only japanese cds, they appear on japanese TV, talk a lot in Japanese and their twitter and instagram posts are mostly written in japanese. Because of all these reasons I consider them to be a jpop and not a kpop group. And to be honest I am very happy that they started to release in Japan because otherwise I guess I would never have gotten that much into them.

What do you think? Are they a JPop or KPop group?

Code-V announced 12th single

Just recently Code-V announced to release their 12th single at the end of November. The titel has not been revealed so far but we already know that there will be a reguar and dvd version of the single.

I am really happy about this announcement and very much looking forward to it AND I hope that SOL will be with them again with the new single. That would be so awesome!

What do you think about the announcement?

Full version of Code-V's Kimi to Ita Natsu PV released

It's here!! And I love it!! The song is very beautiful and I like the soft natural colors they used. The whole video suites the mood of the song so well. I really love it and, I know I wrote this so many times already, but I am super happy to see them as five members and (hopefully) soon as six members again!! Here it is.

Code-V released first teaser for new single

Code-V released their first teaser for the new single "Kimi to Ita Natsu". The song seems very beautiful and I am so happy that Rui is back now. I saw that SOL is actuelly back too but I guess he will only join them again with the next single. By then they are 6 members. Can't wait for that. However the new single with 5 member is great too and I really love the japanese style theme they used. Each of them looks so handsome here. I am very much looking forward to the full music video but for now here is the teaser.

Code-V to release new single with 5 member again

The new single has been annouced some time ago already but I only post it now because I just saw that they will be 5 members again, which most possibly means that Rui is finally back as well. I am super excited about this and I can't wait for the first promo pictures with all 5 of them together! Thought it will be even better when SOL is also coming back from military service!! Can't wait for them to be six member one day!!!

CODE-V's SangWoo and NALAW are back

As some of you might now in 2013/2014 (I don't know the exact date) Rui, SangWoo and NALAW went to the military service in their home country South Korea. All korean born man have to do this at an specific age (people who are into KPop now that oh so well). However they finally finished their military service and are now back again to bring us good music. Thought I don't know about Rui, he should have finished his military service as well and I hope he will come back soon as well. At the end of this month however, they will release their first cd together with SongWoo and NALAW. It's actuelly also the first with these 4 together because WooSik and TaeHoon joined after SangWoo and NALAW left for military service. As for now the new album is only a cover album, means they are covering popular japanese songs. Here are two promo videos for two of the songs.

I personally are super happy about them returning and I am looking forward to Rui joining them again as well and I can't wait for SOL to come back after he finished his military service, which might be around sometime 2017. As for the album I am looking forward to recieve it myself and enjoy them singing after such a long time.

How do you like the cover songs?

Thanks a lot for reading!
